If you create your own parts from raw materials, such as earring hooks from wire or beads from clay you need to follow these steps in order to use Craft Maker Pro:
- Add your raw material into Craft Maker Pro as a part (see video tutorial here)
- Create your new parts/pieces from your raw materials, ie your hooks or beads and enter those as pieces into your inventory. This will allow you to work out the cost of these new "parts" you have made. It will also remove the raw material "parts" from your inventory. (see video tutorial here)
- Now you need to enter in the new parts that you have made back into your inventory, so enter in the number of hooks or beads that you have made and the cost of them as a part. They are now in your inventory and ready to be used to create a piece.
- Finally you need to manage the "piece inventory" for these parts that you have made. Since these pieces will not get sold you should manage these in a way similar to waste material and record them to a sudo record that you an differentiate in your system. (see video here on how to manage waste inventory)
